Travel time includes the milage, time and fuel expenses incurred from our yard to the job site and back to our yard.
The clock starts when the movers arrive on site. However, this does not include travel time charges that may be in affect before the movers arrive on site.
Time stops when the last items are unloaded and the final walkthrough is completed. This does not include travel time that may be in affect after the move is complete.
Payment is due upon the completion of your move.

Yes! Our ventilated and heated warehouse is accessible on weekdays from 9:00AM-5:00PM.
Pianos and items alike are considered "Specialty Services." Depending on the size/weight of the piano, heavy item fees may apply along with the hiring of extra movers.
Be prepared. Plan ahead for your movers, ensure elevators are locked and truck parking is available. Refer to the Spartan Movers Moving Checklist for more information!
Our movers lay down blankets/ram-board to ensure your floors are left untouched by any equipment/furniture. Our movers will also take off their footwear by default, unless specified otherwise by our clients.
Safes and items alike are considered "Specialty Services." Depending on the size/weight of the safe, heavy item fees may apply along with the hiring of extra movers.
Spartan Movers are not permitted to transport flammables/combustibles which include but are not limited to: propane, gasoline, paint, weapons, ammunition and aerosols.
Spartan Movers are very generous with our bubble/shrink wrap. All furniture items are shrink wrapped and wrapped in blankets before being secured with tape and straps.
Contact our team as soon as possible to reschedule your move. Cancellations less than 24 hours before your move will incur a $150 fee.
Spartan Movers provide free boxes with a fully refundable deposit! Each box equates to $5 which will be refunded immediately when the boxes are returned in reusable condition. We will provide your boxes when requested ahead of your move. If you require packing services, our movers will show up to the site with all the boxes requested.

Yes! All our equipment and supplies are reused the best we can. Otherwise, all waste is recycled appropriately.
Your free boxes can be kept up to 10 business days after the completion of your move until the refundable deposit is no longer refundable!
Preferably, all items should be packed in boxes. However, for small dresser drawers we allow for the drawers to be removed and taped closed for ease for packing.
The ideal time to schedule a move is 4-5 weeks prior to your moving day.
Spartan Movers charges by the hour for moving and packing. The hourly rate is determined by the size of the move and how many movers are required. Travel time is charged by the kilometer so there is no need to worry about traffic adding to the travel charges.
Our movers can handle light rain. However, if it is excessively raining or snowing the move will have to be rescheduled to the soonest day with good weather.
